- 2 cups walnuts, unsalted
- 1 cup fresh or dried figs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme or rosemary
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the walnuts and figs, then drizzle with honey and olive oil.
- Add the salt and herbs, tossing everything to coat evenly.
- Spread the mixture evenly on a lined baking sheet.
- Roast for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Monitor closely to prevent burning; the nuts should be golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
