  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 24 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or shortening

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar, sweetened condensed milk, and peppermint extract. Mix until smooth.
  2. Refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes.
  3. Shape the chilled mixture into small balls and flatten them into discs on a parchment-lined baking tray.
  4. Freeze the patties for about 1 hour.
  5. Melt dark chocolate with coconut oil using a double boiler or microwave.
  6. Dip each frozen patty into the melted chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
  7. Let the chocolate set at room temperature or in the fridge.
  8. Serve the peppermint patties with a warm cup of cocoa or share with friends and family.

Notes

For dairy-free patties, use plant-based condensed milk. Experiment with different extracts for custom flavors.
