Ingredients
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1-2 tbsp chili (fresh or dried)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro), chopped
- 1-2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and let rest at room temperature for 20 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix the butter with minced garlic, chili, and herbs. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak bites in a single layer for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Lower the heat, add chili butter to the pan, and toss to coat the steak bites.
- Remove from heat, let rest, garnish with more herbs and serve.
Notes
For added flavor, include a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lime juice in the chili butter. Serve with sides like garlic bread, cucumber salad, or roasted vegetables.
