Tender steak bites seared to perfection and coated in a rich, spicy chili butter.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1-2 tbsp chili (fresh or dried)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro), chopped
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and let rest at room temperature for 20 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the butter with minced garlic, chili, and herbs. Set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak bites in a single layer for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  4. Lower the heat, add chili butter to the pan, and toss to coat the steak bites.
  5. Remove from heat, let rest, garnish with more herbs and serve.

Notes

For added flavor, include a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lime juice in the chili butter. Serve with sides like garlic bread, cucumber salad, or roasted vegetables.
