- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

- 1 cup rich chocolate chunks
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
- Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chunks gently.
- Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, use coconut oil or plant-based butter. You can also replace eggs with applesauce or mashed bananas. Add a sprinkle of sea salt for extra flavor.
