- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup almonds, chopped
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream the unsalted butter and sugar together in a large mixing bowl until fluffy.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
- Gradually add the flour, baking powder, and salt, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped almonds and dried cranberries until evenly distributed.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Press the tops slightly to flatten.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For added flavor, consider toasting the almonds lightly before adding it to the dough.
