Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and yeast.
- Warm milk and melted butter; add to dry ingredients along with the beaten egg. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a greased bowl for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- While the dough rises, crush Oreos and mix with softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the filling.
- Roll the risen dough into a rectangle and spread the Oreo filling evenly on top.
- Tightly roll the dough into a log and cut into 12 slices.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- For the icing, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
Feel free to substitute whole milk with non-dairy options or 2% milk. Ensure the milk is warm, not hot, to activate the yeast properly.
