  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 oz cream cheese (optional, for icing)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (for icing)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and yeast.
  2. Warm milk and melted butter; add to dry ingredients along with the beaten egg. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. While the dough rises, crush Oreos and mix with softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the filling.
  6. Roll the risen dough into a rectangle and spread the Oreo filling evenly on top.
  7. Tightly roll the dough into a log and cut into 12 slices.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. For the icing, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
