  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey, beef, or pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (rosemary, parsley, or thyme), chopped
  • 1 can cranberry sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped herbs, and a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Mix gently.
  3. Form the mixture into bite-sized meatballs.
  4. Place the meatballs on a greased baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs bake, combine the cranberry sauce and soy sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until blended, then let simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Toss the cooked meatballs in the warmed cranberry sauce until fully coated.
  7. Serve warm on a platter, garnished with additional herbs.

Notes

For a lighter option, use ground chicken or a veggie blend. Gluten-free breadcrumbs can be used as a substitute.
