A creamy, dreamy appetizer featuring burrata cheese surrounded by sautéed mushrooms and cherry tomatoes, perfect for gatherings.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 large burrata cheese
  • 1 cup button or cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the vegetables thoroughly. Slice the mushrooms and halve the cherry tomatoes. Mince the garlic and coarsely chop the herbs.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms and stir until tender and golden brown, about 5 minutes. Then stir in cherry tomatoes and cook until softened.
  4. Once cooked, stir in fresh herbs and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Arrange the sautéed vegetables in a circular shape on a large platter, creating an inviting nest in the center for the burrata.
  6. Place the burrata in the center, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with herbs, and add more salt if desired.
  7. Serve with crusty bread or crackers for scooping.

Notes

Customize the wreath with different vegetables or herbs according to your taste. You can add spinach for freshness or chili flakes for heat.
