Ingredients
- 8 oz Burrata cheese
- 1 loaf crusty bread (baguette or sourdough)
- 8 oz mixed mushrooms (shiitake and cremini)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil or rosemary
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prep the Ingredients: Clean and slice the mushrooms. Chop the garlic and prepare the herbs.
- Sauté the Mushrooms: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, then add the mushrooms and cook until golden (5-7 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.
- Create the Wreath: Arrange sautéed mushrooms in a circular shape on a large platter and place the burrata in the center.
- Drizzle and Garnish: Drizzle olive oil over the wreath and sprinkle fresh herbs around.
- Serve: Present warm with crusty bread for dipping.
Notes
Let the burrata come to room temperature for best flavor. Consider adding balsamic reduction for extra tang.
