These delightful bites combine creamy brie cheese with sweet-tart cranberry sauce, all wrapped in flaky puff pastry for the perfect holiday appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 round wheel of brie cheese
  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 1 cup of cranberry sauce
  • Fresh herbs (thyme or rosemary)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 3-inch squares.
  3. Place a small spoonful of cranberry sauce in the center of each pastry square and top with a slice of brie.
  4. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and pinch them together to form pockets.
  5. Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle fresh herbs over them.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving, garnishing with additional herbs if desired.
