A delicious Bacon Ranch Cheeseburger featuring juicy beef patties topped with crispy bacon and homemade ranch dressing, perfect for family gatherings.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 lb 80/20 ground beef
  • 6 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 4 slices American cheese (or cheddar/pepper jack)
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 brioche or potato buns
  • Lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles (for toppings)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Fry bacon in a skillet until crispy. Drain on paper towels and reserve some fat in the pan.
  2. If making homemade ranch, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, and herbs until smooth.
  3. Mix ground beef with salt and pepper, form into patties with an indentation in the center.
  4. Cook patties in the skillet with reserved bacon fat over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side. Add cheese during the last minute to melt.
  5. Toast buns lightly in the skillet, spread ranch dressing on the bottom bun, then add the patty, bacon, and desired toppings. Drizzle more ranch before adding the top bun.
  6. Serve with fries or a fresh salad.

Notes

Let the patties rest for a few minutes after cooking for juicier burgers. Customize toppings to your preference.
