A creamy and savory dip made with sautéed mushrooms, cheese, and fresh herbs; perfect for gatherings and cozy snacks.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh mushrooms, cleaned and chopped
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 splash Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chives, chopped
  • Olive oil for sautéing

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, drizzle olive oil and sauté the mushrooms until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Add minced garlic during the last minute.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until creamy.
  3. Gently fold in the sautéed mushrooms, parsley, and chives until well mixed.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and spread the mixture in a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top, then serve with crackers or bread.

Notes

Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature before mixing for a smoother consistency. Allow the dip to cool slightly before serving to thicken.
