Ingredients
- 1 lb Boneless Chicken (breast or thighs)
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 2 cups Tomatoes (fresh or canned)
- 1 cup Heavy Cream (or coconut milk for a lighter option)
- 1 large Onion (diced)
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 inch Ginger (minced)
- 1 tsp Ground Cumin
- 1 tsp Ground Coriander
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
- Fresh Cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken with yogurt, ginger, garlic, and spices. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté diced onions until golden brown.
- Add the marinated chicken and sauté until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add tomatoes (and any leftover marinade) and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Stir in the cream and let the sauce thicken, adjusting seasonings to taste.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve warm.
Notes
