Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and molasses until fluffy. Add in the egg and mix well.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, ground spices, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet, mixing just until combined.
  3. Chill the Dough: Wrap your dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes.
