- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 12 mini cocktail sausages (or your favorite sausage)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon mustard (yellow or Dijon)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Fresh herbs (thyme or rosemary, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into rectangles to wrap around the sausages.
- In a small bowl, mix honey, mustard, soy sauce, and garlic powder to create the glaze.
- Place a sausage at one end of a pastry rectangle, spoon a touch of glaze over it, then roll tightly and seal with a pinch, placing seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush each pastry with some glaze for browning.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with more glaze and sprinkle with herbs for presentation.
Notes
For a twist, use crescent roll dough or swap honey with maple syrup. Ensure puff pastry is chilled before rolling for best results.
