Instructions
- Measure matcha powder and cocoa powder into a bowl.
- Add a small splash of hot water to whisk the matcha and cocoa together until smooth.
- Heat your choice of milk in a saucepan over medium heat until warm.
- Pour the matcha-cocoa mixture into the warm milk and whisk vigorously to froth.
- Sweeten with honey or maple syrup, whisking until combined.
- Pour into a mug and top with matcha or cinnamon if desired.
Notes
Use a matcha whisk or frother for the best foam. Avoid boiling water directly with matcha to prevent bitterness.
