Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream or sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Grease the slow cooker insert with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until combined.
  5. Pour half of the chocolate batter into the slow cooker, drizzle with heavy cream, then add the remaining batter.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool slightly before serving; drizzle with extra caramel sauce if desired.

Notes

Serve warm for the best flavor and texture. Can be paired with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra indulgence.
