Delicious Hazelnut Chocolate Truffles that melt in your mouth and offer a delightful blend of rich chocolate and nutty hazelnuts.

Ingredients

  • 200g high-quality dark chocolate (60% cocoa or higher)
  • 100ml heavy cream
  • 100g toasted hazelnuts, finely chopped
  • 50g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 30g butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Chop the dark chocolate and place it in a heatproof bowl.
  2. Heat the cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
  3. Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and let it sit for a minute, then whisk until smooth.
  4. Stir in the chopped hazelnuts and butter until well combined.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
  6. Once chilled, scoop or shape the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  7. Roll the truffles in cocoa powder to coat.
  8. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until serving.

Notes

For an extra touch, consider rolling some truffles in finely chopped nuts or shredded coconut.
