Ingredients
- 1 box Red Velvet Cake Mix
- 3 Eggs
- ½ cup Vegetable Oil
- 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the red velvet cake mix, eggs, oil, and water according to package instructions. Pour into greased lasagna pans and bake for about 30 minutes. Let the cakes cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- In another mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks; gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
- Cut each cake into layers. In a deep dish, layer cake and cream cheese mixture repeatedly until reaching the top. Finish with whipped cream and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Garnish with fresh berries or cocoa powder before serving.
Notes
Allow cooling and refrigeration time for best flavor and texture. Serve with a light salad or fresh fruit.
