  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar (or brown sugar)
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream (or whole milk)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch of Nutmeg or Cinnamon (optional)
  • Pre-made pastry shells (or homemade pastry dough)

  4. Pour custard filling into prepared crusts until just below the rim.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until edges are puffed and centers are set but still jiggly.
  6. Let cool in pans for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Dust lightly with powdered sugar before serving for a festive touch.
