Ingredients
- 2 lbs Chicken Wings
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Cornstarch
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- Oil for Frying
Instructions
- Clean the chicken wings and pat them dry with paper towels.
- Marinate wings in buttermilk in the fridge for 3-4 hours or overnight.
- Whisk together flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Coat each wing in the flour mixture, shaking off excess flour.
- Heat oil in a pot to 350°F.
- Carefully add wings to the hot oil, frying in batches without overcrowding.
- Fry until golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.
- Remove wings and drain on paper towels; season with salt immediately.
- Serve hot with your favorite sauce or dips.
Notes
For extra crispiness, let the wings rest on a wire rack after frying. Experiment with different sauces for variety.
