Deliciously crispy fried chicken wings that are juicy on the inside and bursting with flavor. Perfect for any occasion, from family dinners to game nights.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Chicken Wings
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • Oil for Frying

Instructions

  1. Clean the chicken wings and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. Marinate wings in buttermilk in the fridge for 3-4 hours or overnight.
  3. Whisk together flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Coat each wing in the flour mixture, shaking off excess flour.
  5. Heat oil in a pot to 350°F.
  6. Carefully add wings to the hot oil, frying in batches without overcrowding.
  7. Fry until golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.
  8. Remove wings and drain on paper towels; season with salt immediately.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite sauce or dips.

Notes

For extra crispiness, let the wings rest on a wire rack after frying. Experiment with different sauces for variety.
