Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- Pinch of salt
- 2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- ½ cup Greek yogurt (or coconut yogurt)
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cherries (chopped if fresh)
- 2 tablespoons sweetener (maple syrup, honey, etc.)
Instructions
- In a large bowl or jar, mix the rolled oats, cocoa powder, chia seeds, and salt.
- Pour in the milk and stir in the Greek yogurt and sweetener until well combined.
- If using fresh cherries, pit and chop them; toss in the cherries (fresh or frozen) into the mixture and stir to combine.
- Spoon the mixture into individual jars or bowls, sealing them tightly, and refrigerate overnight.
- The next morning, stir the oats and top with additional cherries, cocoa, or granola if desired.
Notes
Let the oats soak overnight to ensure creaminess. Adjust thickness with extra milk as needed.
