Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless chicken (breast or thighs)
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 4 flour or whole wheat tortillas
- 1 cup cooked jasmine or basmati rice
- 1 cup bell peppers (sliced)
- 1 cup carrots (sliced)
- 1 cup cucumbers (sliced)
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 2 green onions (sliced, for garnish)
- Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cut the chicken into thin strips and heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Pour in teriyaki sauce and simmer for a couple of minutes until thickened.
- Warm tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.
- Assemble each wrap with rice, chicken, vegetables, and garnishes.
- Wrap tightly and serve with a side of edamame or cucumber salad.
Notes
For a vegan option, substitute chicken with tofu or shrimp. Enjoy customizing your wrap with various veggies and sauces!
