Ingredients
- 1 pound cake (premade or homemade)
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream
- 1 pint chocolate ice cream
- 1 pint strawberry ice cream
- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 cups whipped cream
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or almonds
- 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
Instructions
- Gather and prepare all your ingredients.
- Cut the pound cake in half horizontally and place one half on a serving platter.
- Spread a layer of vanilla ice cream over the cake, followed by sliced bananas and a layer of whipped cream.
- Repeat with chocolate ice cream, bananas, and whipped cream.
- Top with the second half of the cake and cover with whipped cream.
- Drizzle with chocolate syrup and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
- Freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
- Let the cake sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before slicing and serve.
Notes
For a lighter version, use low-fat ice cream or frozen yogurt. For nut-free, skip the nuts or use sunflower seeds instead.
