Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 8 soft slider buns
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
- Cheese for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté chopped onions until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked onion and garlic with ground turkey, cranberry sauce, thyme, sage, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated without overworking the meat.
- Form small patties from the mixture, approximately 2-3 inches wide.
- Cook the patties on a grill or skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Add cheese on top during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Toast slider buns until golden and crisp.
- Assemble sliders with lettuce, tomato, and desired toppings.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
