Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 8 soft slider buns
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Cheese for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté chopped onions until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked onion and garlic with ground turkey, cranberry sauce, thyme, sage, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated without overworking the meat.
  4. Form small patties from the mixture, approximately 2-3 inches wide.
  5. Cook the patties on a grill or skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Add cheese on top during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  7. Toast slider buns until golden and crisp.
  8. Assemble sliders with lettuce, tomato, and desired toppings.
