Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil the egg noodles in salted water until al dente, drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté the onions and garlic until translucent. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in salt, pepper, and paprika, and let simmer for a few minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix the egg noodles with the beef mixture, sour cream, and half of the cheese.
- Pour into a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For best results, do not overbake. You can customize with vegetables or alternate proteins as desired.
