- 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup
- 1 cup freshly brewed espresso or strong coffee
- 1 cup milk of choice (dairy, almond, oat, or coconut)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Prep the cherries by pitting them. Mash or blend to create a cherry purée.
- Brew your espresso or strong coffee and let it cool slightly.
- In a glass, layer the cherry purée, then pour in the coffee.
- Add vanilla extract or syrup, stirring gently to combine.
- Fill the glass with ice and pour in the milk. Stir well to mix.
- Garnish with whole cherries and a drizzle of syrup, if desired.
Notes
Adjust sweetness by adding more cherries or syrup. Chill glasses beforehand for best serving experience.
