- 1-2 teaspoons matcha powder
- 1 cup milk or milk alternative

- 1/2 cup tapioca pearls

Instructions
- Prepare the tapioca pearls by boiling them for about 15 minutes and letting them sit in water for another 15 minutes. Drain and rinse.
- In a small bowl, mix 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder with a splash of hot water, whisking until smooth.
- In a tall glass, layer the tapioca pearls and pour in the milk of choice. Add sweetener to taste and then pour in the whisked matcha.
- Gently stir, add ice if desired, and enjoy with a straw.
- Optional: Sprinkle matcha or chia seeds on top for an aesthetic touch.
