- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Prepare Your Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Melt the Chocolate: Combine semi-sweet chocolate chips and half of the sweetened condensed milk in a double boiler or microwave, heat until melted.
- Add Peppermint Flavor: Stir in 1/2 teaspoon of peppermint extract once melted.
- Spread into the Pan: Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and spread evenly.
- Prepare the White Chocolate Layer: Melt white chocolate chips with the remaining sweetened condensed milk; stir in the rest of the peppermint extract.
- Layer the White Chocolate: Pour this over the semi-sweet mixture and spread gently.
- Create the Swirl: Use a knife to gently swirl the layers together.
- Top it Off: Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top.
- Chill and Set: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm then cut into squares.
- Serve and Enjoy: Share or enjoy on your own!
