  • ½ cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apples by peeling and chopping them, then toss with cinnamon and sugar.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the butter with granulated and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing in heavy cream until combined.
  5. Fold in the dry ingredients gradually, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Gently fold in the prepared apples.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
