Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix together the softened butter and cream cheese with both sugars until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, mixing just until incorporated.
- Fold in the chopped strawberries gently.
- Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Best enjoyed the same day but can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
