- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- 1 egg (optional)
Instructions
- Combine cottage cheese, flour, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl until it forms a soft dough.
- Knead gently on a floured surface for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
- Divide the dough into 4 pieces and shape into balls, then press down into disks.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat, adding olive oil or butter.
- Cook each disk for 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Repeat with remaining dough, adding more oil to the skillet as necessary.
Notes
Cook on medium heat for a golden crust and fluffy inside. Avoid overworking the dough for best texture.
