Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1/2 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken: Rinse the chicken tenders under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- Make the marinade: In a bowl, melt the butter. Add honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce, then whisk until well combined.
- Marinate the chicken: Place chicken tenders in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.
- Prepare the air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Cook the chicken: Remove chicken from marinade and place in the air fryer in a single layer. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check for doneness: Ensure the chicken is golden brown and crispy, at least 165°F (75°C) internal temperature.
- Serve with extra sauce: Drizzle leftover marinade or create a quick dipping sauce using honey, butter, and garlic.
Notes
For extra crunch, consider lightly spraying the chicken with cooking spray before air frying.
