- 1 cup Romano cheese, grated
- 1 cup breadcrumbs

- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine the breadcrumbs, Romano cheese, garlic, and herbs in a shallow dish. Season with salt and pepper.
- Prepare the chicken breasts by gently flattening them for even cooking.
- Dip each chicken breast into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing down for a thick coat.
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and place chicken in the skillet.
- Sauté for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
Serve with a fresh salad or creamy mashed potatoes. Let the chicken rest after cooking to retain moisture.
