- 4 large Russet potatoes
- Vegetable oil or peanut oil for frying
- Sea salt to taste

Instructions
- Prepare the Potatoes: Wash and peel the Russet potatoes, then slice them into long, thin strips.
- Soak the Fries: Place the sliced potatoes in a bowl of cold water for at least 30 minutes. Drain and pat dry.
- Heat the Oil: Heat oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry in Batches: Add fries to the hot oil carefully; fry for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and drain.
- Season While Hot: Sprinkle with salt or your seasoning of choice.
- Serve Immediately: Enjoy hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider soaking the fries in a mixture of water and vinegar. Frying twice can enhance their crispiness.
