Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Grease and flour a bundt or loaf pan generously.
- Cream together butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate the granulated sugar, beating until combined and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing each in fully.
- Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, alternating with vanilla until mixed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60–70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes before turning it out onto a wire rack.
Notes
For a lighter version, consider using reduced-fat cream cheese or butter. Pair with fresh fruits or a berry sauce for added flavor.
