- 1 pound pork belly, cut into 1-inch thick slices
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, sesame oil, and black pepper. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved.
- Marinate the Pork Belly: Slice the pork belly and place it in a zip-top bag with the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat the Skillet: Preheat a frying pan over medium-high heat and add the marinated pork belly strips. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until caramelized.
- Finish and Serve: Transfer the pork belly to a platter and sprinkle with chopped scallions and toasted sesame seeds.
- Prepare Accompaniments: Serve with fresh lettuce leaves and a spicy dipping sauce for a fun dining experience.
