Ingredients
- 1 block firm tofu, pressed
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture. Wrap in a towel and place something heavy on it for 20 minutes.
- Crumble the pressed tofu into a large bowl.
- Add panko breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped green onions, soy sauce, and herbs and spices.
- Roll the mixture into one-inch balls.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil and place the tofu balls in, making sure they’re not crowded.
- Air-fry for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
- Let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve with dipping sauces like garlic aioli or sweet chili sauce for extra flavor.
