Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Finely chop onions and garlic, and clean and slice mushrooms into small pieces.
  2. Sauté onions in skillet over medium heat with butter until translucent, then add garlic for 1 minute.
  3. Add mushrooms to the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Combine cream cheese, sour cream, salt, pepper, and herbs; stir until smooth.
  5. Finish off with hot sauce or chili flakes to taste.
  6. Serve in a bowl, warm or refrigerated, and garnish with herbs or paprika if desired.
