- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Prep the chicken by trimming excess fat and pounding to ½ inch thickness.
- Set up your breading station with breadcrumbs, Parmesan, seasoning, and beaten eggs.
- Coat each cutlet in egg then breadcrumbs, pressing to adhere.
- Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the cutlets for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Drizzle warm honey over cooked cutlets immediately.
- Serve and enjoy with fresh herbs or lemon wedges.
Notes
For added flavor, consider using dried herbs, and always let the cutlets rest after cooking to retain moisture.
