Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (basil or parsley) for garnish
- Cooking oil for frying
Instructions
- Prep the chicken by slicing into cutlets or pounding thinly. Season with salt and pepper.
- Set up an assembly line with flour, beaten eggs, and a mix of panko, parmesan, and garlic.
- Dredge each cutlet in flour, then egg wash, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook cutlets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Mix honey with a splash of lemon juice for a sauce.
- Drain cooked cutlets on paper towels and serve warm, drizzled with honey sauce and sprinkled with fresh herbs.
Notes
Do not overcrowd the pan while cooking; this maintains the crispiness.
