Deliciously flaky Cream Cheese Puff Pastries filled with a creamy garlic and herb filling.

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen puff pastry
  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs (chives or dill), chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface for even thickness.
  3. Cut the pastry into 3×3 inch squares.
  4. Prepare the filling by mixing cream cheese, minced garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Assemble the pastries by adding filling to the center of each square and folding over.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Make sure not to overfill the pastries to prevent them from bursting during baking. Serve warm for best flavor.
