Ingredients
- 1 package frozen puff pastry
- 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh herbs (chives or dill), chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface for even thickness.
- Cut the pastry into 3×3 inch squares.
- Prepare the filling by mixing cream cheese, minced garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Assemble the pastries by adding filling to the center of each square and folding over.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Make sure not to overfill the pastries to prevent them from bursting during baking. Serve warm for best flavor.
