  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate protein powder
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup nut flour (almond or oat flour)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. Combine the chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, nut flour, and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix the eggs, sweetener, milk, and vanilla extract in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Combine the dry mixture with the wet mix, folding gently to create a smooth batter.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

You can use coconut flour in place of almond flour, but adjust liquids accordingly. For a vegan option, substitute eggs with flax eggs or ripe bananas.
