Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken (breast or thighs)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tsp fresh black pepper, cracked
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
- 1 cup snap peas
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cooking oil (for sautéing)
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Prep the chicken: Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and pat dry.
- Marinate the chicken: Combine soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and black pepper; toss the chicken in this mixture, and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
- Cook the chicken: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add chicken in a single layer, and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Add the vegetables: Toss in bell peppers and snap peas, stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
- Finish with sesame oil: Drizzle over the dish and stir to combine.
- Serve over rice, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Allow the chicken to marinate longer for enhanced flavor. Always use generous amounts of black pepper while cooking.
