Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla and almond extracts.
- Whisk together the flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add this to your wet mixture, stirring until combined.
- Divide the dough into smaller bowls, adding food coloring to each bowl.
- Form small balls of dough and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Decorate each cookie with sprinkles or icing.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
