- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- Juice of half a lemon
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions
- Prepare the strawberries: Wash and hull the strawberries, then mash them with granulated sugar and lemon juice; let sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Make the whipped cream: Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gradually add powdered sugar and whip to stiff peaks.
- Fold the strawberry mixture into the whipped cream carefully to keep it airy.
- Chill the mousse in cups or a large bowl for at least 2 hours to set.
- Serve with fresh strawberries on top and enjoy.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute heavy whipping cream with coconut cream. Add gelatin for a more stable texture if desired.
