Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ cup colorful sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla extract.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ones until well combined. Fold in colorful sprinkles.
- Scoop the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden and centers are soft.
- Cool on tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Decorate with icing and extra sprinkles if desired.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake them. Chilling the dough for 30 minutes also helps maintain their shape.
