Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillet
  • 2 lemons, zested and juiced
  • 2 oranges, zested and juiced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it with olive oil and placing the salmon skin-side down.
  3. Mix the zest and juice of the lemons and oranges with minced garlic, chopped herbs, and honey or maple syrup in a small bowl.
  4. Pour the marinade over the salmon, letting it soak in for 30 minutes to an hour if possible.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Let the salmon rest for a couple of minutes before serving and drizzle with leftover marinade.
