A delightful and comforting cheesy chicken wrap filled with garlic, cheese, and sautéed vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken (breast or thighs)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
  • 4 flour or whole wheat tortillas
  • 1 cup sautéed mushrooms
  • Fresh parsley or basil (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • A dash of paprika or hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sauté the garlic in a skillet with a bit of olive oil over medium heat until fragrant.
  2. Add the chicken pieces, seasoning with salt and pepper; sauté until browned and cooked through.
  3. Toss in the mushrooms (or any chosen veggies) and cook until tender.
  4. Lower the heat and sprinkle the cheese over the top, allowing it to melt.
  5. Warm the tortillas in a separate pan until pliable.
  6. Spoon the cheesy chicken mixture onto each tortilla.
  7. Roll up the tortillas tightly, sealing the filling inside.
  8. Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet for a minute or two until golden brown.
  9. Slice in half and serve warm with dipping sauce or fresh sides.

Notes

Feel free to customize the veggies or cheeses based on preference. For a crisper wrap, pan-fry after rolling.
