Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless chicken (breast or thighs)
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- 3 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
- 4 flour or whole wheat tortillas
- 1 cup sautéed mushrooms
- Fresh parsley or basil (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- A dash of paprika or hot sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Sauté the garlic in a skillet with a bit of olive oil over medium heat until fragrant.
- Add the chicken pieces, seasoning with salt and pepper; sauté until browned and cooked through.
- Toss in the mushrooms (or any chosen veggies) and cook until tender.
- Lower the heat and sprinkle the cheese over the top, allowing it to melt.
- Warm the tortillas in a separate pan until pliable.
- Spoon the cheesy chicken mixture onto each tortilla.
- Roll up the tortillas tightly, sealing the filling inside.
- Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet for a minute or two until golden brown.
- Slice in half and serve warm with dipping sauce or fresh sides.
Notes
Feel free to customize the veggies or cheeses based on preference. For a crisper wrap, pan-fry after rolling.
