Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened peanut butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl: whole wheat flour, rolled oats, and a pinch of cinnamon.
  3. Prepare wet ingredients in another bowl: pumpkin puree, grated carrots, peanut butter, and egg, mixing until fully incorporated.
  4. Combine both mixtures, stirring until well combined; the dough will be slightly sticky.
  5. Shape the dough into small balls (about the size of a tablespoon) and place them onto a lined baking sheet, flattening them slightly.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden and firm to the touch.
  7. Cool completely on a wire rack before serving to your dog.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week, or refrigerate for longer freshness. These cookies can also be frozen for up to three months.
